Xsession: warning: xrdb command not found; X resources not merged.

I believe this is generated by
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/30x11-common_xresources.

No, I haven't seen it for quite some time.

And do you have xbase-clients installed?

Yes, xbase-clients 1:7.0.1-1 is installed now. I don't know whether
it was installed when I originally had the error (though I think I
verified that xrdb was present).
